Aside from the beauty of this magical and surprisingly diverse river the photographic and wildlife viewing opportunities can be first class, from the sublime beauty of the Half-collared Kingfisher to the allure of the elusive leopard who come down to drink in the heat of the summer months.
The Busanga Plains adventure - The Busanga is often referred to as the ‘Jewel’ in the crown of the Kafue, this stunning seasonal floodplain come grassland is home to its own diverse and plentiful fauna. Your three days at NBC will allow you to get an insight into the unique habitat types of Busanga and its surrounds, giving the best chance to see the various wildlife species for which this area is famed, animals such as roan, sable, serval, buffalo and if lucky the ubiquitous Busanga lions.
